Argus Money shows how long you have to work for every expense. A $5 coffee becomes 12 minutes of your life. This helps people build a healthy money awareness – no account, no bank connection, and all data stays on the phone.
Full description
Most finance apps count money. Argus translates it into the one resource nobody can earn back: life time. Users enter their net income and working hours once. From then on, every expense also appears as the hours and minutes they worked for it – per purchase, per day and per month.
Instead of strict budgets and guilt, Argus builds awareness: dream goals that visibly grow with every amount saved, a 10-day “Money Compass” course with a daily impulse, voice entry (“$4.50 bakery and $12 movies”), widgets and reminders. Argus needs no account and no bank connection, shows no ads and stores all data on the device only.
What makes it special
- Every expense converted into working time – instantly as you type
- Voice entry: several entries in one sentence
- Dream goals with their own picture that gets clearer with every dollar saved
- Money Compass: a 10-day course for a healthy money mindset
- Home Screen widgets
- No account, no bank, no ads – data stays on the device
Founder quote
They say money can’t buy happiness. I say money can make you happy – when you know where it goes.
Scarcity rarely starts in your wallet. It starts in your head. That’s why I built Argus: to help people build a healthy money mindset – so our kids never learn to think in scarcity in the first place.
